Practical Pistol & Safety Class

This course is 7-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn the rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, and two handed standing positions. Students will also be informed of opportunities for skill development. Students will receive a certificate upon completion of the course. Students will also receive information on Mississippi gun laws including the enhancement that became effective July 1, 2011. Participants successfully completing the course will meet the requirements for the State of Mississippi Enhanced Conceal Carry permit endorsement.
